There are about six dealers selling cels, the three main
dealers are as usual, Anime Link, Nicibiei and Ed
Noonchester. Like AX, Anime Link has a bunch of good
quality new cels, as well as some awesome cels for auction
each day. High quality cels for auction include several
awesome Sailor Moon, a couple Lodoss War OVA (both with
backgrounds, one is actually Deedlit, very nice), a couple
Golden Boy, a few Urusei Yatsura, a Gunbuster cel with
background, and a couple Miyazaki cels...etc. I think
the overall quality of these cel auctions are even better
than the ones he put up in Anime Expo. Ed has some new
cels, many of them have backgrounds, like a few nice Lain
cels with backgrounds. Nichibei is about the same as
Anime Expo. The other dealers are either expensive or
carry many so-so quality cels.
To sum up, Anime Link and Ed Noonchester have the best
quality cels overall. If you want good cels, you really
have to pay for them. Some of the cels in the auctions
at Anime Link went up very high, there are always some
people who have deep pockets. |
