I adore cels with backgrounds! Production backgrounds are best, but sometimes you just can't get it and if it looks good, hey. :) I do not know that I would go out and buy just the background tho. I don't think I would be smart enough to spot the cel that goes with the background! :) One thing I thought that was interesting was a cel from the second Tenchi movie I received. It's Washu and Tenchi and that cel does not actually exist in the movie, they're just stuck together and were sold as one. Bizarre. Here is an example of a cel of Makoto from El-Hazard with what I can only assume is the production background since it does match the cel very well. |
