The price on those cels is crazy. Its pretty much down to just 2 people fighting over the bid. Seems to always be the case. There are a TON of Ryoko cels on the market. I got over 150 nice cels of her and more on the way. (BTW, got my Pocket cels. ^_^ ) Its only places other than Japan where Ryoko cels are getting more expensive. Take a trip there to see for yourself. Just my real quick opinion, but Ryoko is probably very popular in the states because of her personality. From what I've learned, Japanese like more cutesy characters. (AMG, Rei, etc.) but in American culture, we like more "bad ass" girls. (Ryoko, Lina Inverse, BGC, Asuka, etc.) At least thats the trend I've seen...I could be wrong. As for those Ebay auctions, take a look at this cel I got. Its from the 1st OVA episode where Ryoko first walks through a wall. Its in flawless condtion. Imagine what THAT would go for on Ebay.
