'Question about Rick Alonzo/Cel dealer in L.A.'
Slightly off the topic here. But ever since
I've been reading this forum. It seems to me that
this hobby has a small yet very tight community! I
know that Rick does read this forum from time to
time, but he tends to remain in the shadows! I've,
among others whom been to the Shrine Cons, have been
lucky to have seen a small portion of his collection.
And believe you me, it's awesome! Personally, it's
the best friggin variety of cels I've seen anywhere!
Most were A to A cels [with backgrounds]!!!
I'm not nosey as to know how much he'd spent
for his ENTIRE collection.....but I'd hope someone
would know how much he paid for this one particular cel:
one time he showed the people at the Shrine a kick-ass
cel of Pirotess [frontal head shot w/bkgrnd]! He said
it was an all-night negotiations from the character
designer of Lodoss. But in the end, this is his exact
quote, "I got reamed!" But he seems happy enough since
it's from his favorite show....I was in awe when I saw it!
Anyways, since somebody always seem to know about
something here, any clue as to how much he paid for that
cel? I just want to know so I could start saving...Orooooo!
Or if no one knows, about how much would a cel like that
go for? I really want one bad! Thnx, any info would help!
