The key thing is that when storing cels, they should be kept
flat with little pressure on them. So typically it means
storing cels vertically in a cel book. Or if you have a
large flat shelf, you might lay your cels there. (stack only
a few on top of each other.) It's best if it's in an area
away from the sunlight, and away from flourescent lighting.
Also remember that just because it's away from direct
sunlight doesn't mean it's away from UV rays (which can fade
those black cel lines). I heard a good principle: The more
of the sky that you can see, the more UV rays that are coming
in to a particular spot.
That's just my short pointers on storing cels. I'm sure
everyone else will be able to provide you with more info.
