Cels Forum

One of my best friends, Amber, is having her 17th (?) birthday 
on the 19th of May (everyone's birthday is in May within days of 
one another -_-;). She really really likes Tsukishiro Yukito from 
Card Captor Sakura and his voice actress Megumi Ogata (she downloaded 
the "Riding a Bike" song and listens to it every day :P). Knowing this, 
I found this great Yukito cel on Usagi's House and ordered it right 
away for her, but the more I look at it, the more and more I want to 
keep it. -_-;;; I'm definitely giving this to her, she doesn't own 
any cels... yet (I'm probably doing a bad thing by giving her this, LOL) 
so I plan on framing it for her. But really, isn't it one of the best 
Yukito cels? He's hard to find and I've never seen a cel of him "looking 
at the camera" with his eyes OPEN like this. I have bought cels for 
my other friend before, a really nice Sailormoon SuperS of Makoto and 
Ami dancing, Mahoujin Guru Guru and Chi Chi from Dragonball, but I've 
never had the feeling of passing up something good (and hard to find) like
this before. It's also a wishlist cel so I feel really weird...I dunno.
Has anyone given cels as gifts before? Is it hard? Has anyone kept a gift
they intended to give? O_o;;

P.S. What I'm thinking of doing as a consolation is scanning the 
cel and putting it in my gallery since she doesn't have a scanner 
anyhow, not counting it as one of my cels in the tally and mentioning 
it as a present to my friend in the description. Does that sound too
selfish?
