All the programs I use to read email with (Unix mail, Eudora,
AnimeNation's thing) present it in the order in which it
arrived in my box.  I would tend to hope that even programs 
that default to sorting by date would have a way to set a 
preference to sort by arrival.

Anyway, I hope dealers are conscious of such problems, but I
certainly haven't noticed any great advantage from living on
the West Coast, except maybe in having an easier time staying
up for late-night updates.  (On the other hand, some of the
Japanese site updates happen during normal waking hours on
the East Coast, but at 6 AM for me!)
