Well, I've always considered Studio Ghibli the equivalent to Disney in Japan. They make high quality wonderful films. Mononoke was HUGE in Japan as everyone knows. Disney " original " production cels cost tons. And I dont mean that sericel junk. So for myself these prices aren't all that surprising.
