Calm down Kenshinlvr-chan m(__)m
A hanken is a cel made souly for it's image. The image will 
be used on merchandise (i.e.- LD cover, poster, artbook cover etc etc..)
Also the images may be used in a magazine add or something of that sort.
I have no hanken nor could I probably afford any-_-, but I  
have heard that the lines are all handpainted and the cel is
usually of higher quality then the cels used for animation.
And my oh my are the images sure pretty!! @_@
