 SquareSoft did do cel anime cut scenes for
the re-release of Chrono Trigger (though not
Cross). I've seen
a few of the original cels myself, but it's
a rare thing. It's surprising how many
video game do use cels (Xenogears, Lunar,
TOD, as well as others).
 Keeping an eye out is the only thing to
do,but I wouldn't expect to locate any anytime
soon or at any reasonable price either.
