Transferring money interbank / inter country is simple,
Almost all banks do this, using a SWIFT system. having setup
our banks Swift system I am talking from experience.

You will need a Bank Name, Account Name, Account Number,
Bank Address, and probably a BIC (Swift Code). The BIC
can be worked out by your bank (provided you have the
name and address), or you can look it up on
the Swift Web page, www.swift.com (I think).

This is the most secure and fastest way of paying money,
you are guaranteed delivery within minutes (unless they
stuff it up) you can get proof of receipt, and they can't
say it was lost in the mail. The downside is the cost. It
costs the bank very little but it can cost you a lot. This
system is used generally for transferring large sums of
money (think of a really large number and then add six or seven zeros)
and so the costs are generally waved for the clients, but for small
sums they like to charge, at both ends (life sucks). Generally
they charge 10-15 USD at each end, if at all, but it can be
difficult to tell in advance.
