Yep Yann, you're right!

Noriko, depending on what version of Netscape you're using
and if you haven't deleted it from your system, you can
still save your information. This will work for the PC,
since that's what I have, I would assume it would work for
the MAC in the same way.

If you're using Netscape Communicator, locate the folder
on your hard drive. The default is:

c:/program files/netscape/communicator/users/

Under this, you should see your username as the name of
a folder, along with other folders that say, archive, mail,
cache and news. Move that whole directory to another area
of your hard drive temporarily.

When you reinstall Netscape and recreate your username,
move those folders back to that original location. (the
folders being the files in your username root directory, and the
archive, mail, cache and news folders).

I had the same problem happen to me a few months ago. Netscape
crashed and even after rebooting, Netscape wouldn't restart.
So, I did the above and had no problems, so hopefully
it will work for you!

Hope this helps,
Deb :)
