Well this really isn't a cel question, and one that would probably
be better of being discussed in alt.fan.dragonball or a DBZ chatroom.
Anyhow, I don't think the "martial arts" in DBZ is anywhere CLOSE to
any actual martial art, but Toriyama has admitted to being a large fan
of old Jackie Chan movies and Hong Kong flicks, many of which he watched
enthusiastically while drawing the original Dragonball manga (back in the 
80's). From reading the manga, it seems that he was heavily influenced 
by kung fu, primarily. 

What a weird question for this forum...
