I'm from Troy, Michigan, which is a bit north of Detroit, however I've been living in Houghton, MI, for the past few years, working on a degree. This is located at the northern tip of the upper pennisula of the state (in the 'rabbit's ear'). It's very remote, with about 10,000 people, 8,000 being students, and average of 300" of snow a year. As far as I can tell, I'm the only one up here who collects animation cels. There is no place up here to buy anything related to anime, so I rely heavily on the internet for my growing collection =) I'm thinking about moving to southern california next winter, mostly to get away from all the snow, forests, and back to civilization =) TTYL Karen |
