Hello!
I always recommend using a single sheet of cel-bag plastic
to separate your cel from a laser copied background.
This protects your cel from any harmful effects and allows 
you the enjoyment of seeing the background.
It may not increase the value of the cel, but it certainly
increases my appreciation of it.
All of the cels I frame have a background, usually non-matching
and often laser-copied. Sometimes I even change the backgrounds.
Of course, I am a background fanatic. I enjoy the backgrounds 
as much as the cels.
