Re: Auction cel--BUYER BEWARE! Additional information (Mon Jan 17 21:33:23 2000 )

I have to agree with this. Scan where you can see the registration
holes, or more clearly see the sequence numbers at the top.
When I have talked to this individual, he has said he needs
to go and get scans of his cels made. I therefore ask, why
do you crop Taro's image and not scan this one yourself? I mean,
come on.. we are not blind. Put the scan up that I posted earlier
next to the cel he uploaded to the animanga auction and you
can clearly see this is Taro's scan with the name cropped off
of it.

Marc N. has also sent me scans of some other cels that have
the same background on different cels. Also one was CLEARLY
damaged he denied it until I downright told him I was not
blind and I could see the crease in the cel. All of these
factors combined make him a less then ideal person to purchase
from. Not to mention the fact that he lives in France so he
can't take an IPMO. This is going to be a strictly cash
or western union deal folks. As gorgeous as the cel is, I
simply am not willing to risk sending anything to him.

For those of you who HAVE sent money (and I know you read
the forum, I just hope you read this thread) I sincerely
hope you sent your payment registered. Although, when I ordered
from Fan-Anime my post office told me that the highest a registered
letter to France could be insured for is 70.00 and I know you
spent more then that for the SSJ2 Gohan. I also hope everyone
who has bad feelings for this seller are incorrect and that
you get your cel(s). Good luck.
