I too use corners, because I found that the acid-free tape
(I've used a couple of different kinds) leaves a resude on
the cel, that is difficult to get off. This way nothing
sticky touches my presious cels.

You are supposed to tape the cel/print on the upper two corners
only, so that it hangs free and allows for expansion.
I think it is a matter of preference, though as to what you use.
