I think you've been absolutely fair and honest but there 
is a time to draw the line.

I sell on Ebay and some incidences like this have happened 
to me. Once incident happened where a person had emailed
me saying they were sending payment. I waited three weeks,
emailed them four times about it within one week and no
response.

I politely emailed them and said that they had been given
more than enough time to pay and since they hadn't sent
email to me or answered mine, that their item was to be
relisted and if they had sent payment, that it 
would be sent back.

Well, I never heard from them, which I guessed anyway. I would
say to do the same thing. I've learned from past experience
in doing this for years that a seller can only go so far to
be accomodating and from what I've read, you've already 
done that.
