Is there a detox program available??

That was definitely how it worked with me! I started with SM
cels, specifically Seiya/StarFighter.  Then I moved on to 
other SM characters, mostly bad guys, though I want at least
one of each senshi. 

Then as the addiction took hold I HAD to have at least one 
cel from each show I watched - Utena, Shamanic Princess, 
Perfect Blue, Nuku Nuku.  That slowed down some as I watched
more shows, and found some that I liked, but didn't really 
want cels from. (Haunted Junction comes to mind - its 
hysterically goofy, but none of the art calls out to me, so 
I don't even look for cels - although, come to think of it, 
I can't remember even seeing the show listed on any cel 
sites.)

However, once I broke that habit (at least one cel per show)
I started what you mentioned - considering cels from shows
I haven't seen yet (but plan to).  I've already considered 
cels from Fushigi Yuugi, Vampire Princess Miyu and Magic 
Knight Rayearth, although those shows are still on my 
waiting list for watching!  Knowing my luck, I'll buy a cel
of some character I like the look of, only to watch the show
and find out I hate the character!!  Anyway, I've been able
to resist buying cels from shows I haven't watched - so far.
I don't know how long that will last, though!
