Help! Cel-sticking question (and jubilation over my new / favorite cel!) (Fri Aug 18 18:52:07 2000 )

Okay, I recently bought a MAJOR wishlist cel
(been looking for a cel from this sequence since
I saw the very first Utena episode - now to find
one of Dios on his horse!) and spent some major
money on it... when I took it out of the bag
I noticed that a very very small amount of the
black trace-line paint was stuck to the back
of the bag / missing from the cel.

Now, as of this very moment in time, the tiny
bit of missing paint still doesn't affect the way
the cel looks... but I will be VERY upset if it
loses any more. What can I put behind the cel
that will keep it from sticking/losing more paint
that also won't become stuck to the cel??

I've bought cels in the past that had a very, very
thin almost onion-paper-textured paper behind them
(silk paper?) and that seemed to work
wonderfully... where can I get some? Or is there
a better way? This would apply to all of my cels,
but I don't think my heart has stopped quite as
quickly when I've noticed flaws on other cels. =)
Is there a better type of bag or something that
wouldn't stick?

Anyway, to go off the subject of protective
paper... a scan of my new (and currently my
very favorite) cel is below... the friend who
sold it to me knows how absolutely and eternally
happy/grateful I am for this cel. ^.^ (I'm
telling you, I want this thing buried with me...
I usually don't get this "gushy" over a cel,
but I can just sit and stare at this thing...)

Feel free to slap me for bragging... I'm sorry,
I don't usually do this. O_o
