Dear Oion,

Well, actually, I already graduated from the
department already =} (6 years ago!).  I knew the
system administrator, so he let me keep my
account on the system.  Actually the accounts on
the old VAX system are NEVER purged until recently
that is.  All old grad students from the
department can keep their account IF they keep it
in use ;).  While I was there, there were accounts
of people who graduated YEARS ago running around
the system =6.  The department was more concerned
about keeping the system running and functioning
than keeping house.

So, my e-mail address is rather permanent until
they shut down the old VAX which might be soon
since they are switching most new students to a
nice new VAX running UNIX instead of VMS.  I'll
miss the old thing 8(.
