I first saw the subbed version of Sailor Moon
before I had heard of it from the Cartoon Network,
and I LOVED it. A friend of mine who's into anime
saw me watching it, and was horrified that I was
watching Sailor Moon - and I couldn't understand
why, because we usually have pretty similar taste.
Then, I saw the crappy dubbed version on Cartoon
Network, and completely understood. They
BUTCHERED it!! C'min - "Serena's" voice sounds
like a guy who's been kicked in the balls, and
what is up with "Molly's" New York Accent?? I
honestly find it painful to watch, even though
they're now on my second favorite season!! Thank
God the American network execs will never go for
all the lesbian and transsexual stuff in the final
season, because it would kill me to see how much
they would butcher my favorite season!
