Well... a bird in the hand...
Look, you set the reserve because you say to 
yourself, "I absolutely won't take less than x 
amount." So if someone gives you x, then you sell 
it, whether they bid at the beginning of the 
auction or the end of it.  You would be getting 
what you said you wanted, god knows *I* know 
exactly where you're coming from, because I'm 
doing the same thing right now. 
Is the auction price already above the reserve? 
If so, maybe you want to let it run.  Otherwise, 
I'd probably take it.  
I've got an Utena cel up now that's at way less 
than I paid for it, and I had been pretty sure 
(and hopeful) it would go for more- but if 
someone offered me the reserve I'd probably sell 
it and end the auction early.
Also, as a bidder who's gotten burned by snipers, 
I wish more people would end auctions early.
I would have this person place the bid, then end 
the auction early- my $.02
