Did you look at the home theater info on my webpage and the speaker info it linked to?  It was a *big* Dolby Digital soundsystem...

After I calibrated everything, we watched GITS at 5dB below home theater reference levels.  With how loud the music/bass was, you could hear it on the first floor [through the thick concrete floor].
Batou firing the "standard issue big gun" at the end proved to be a positively moving experience, as I happened to be between the 2 subwoofers adjusting some cables at the time.
The few friends that were there were spouting praises to how much better it sounded as opposed to an actual theater!

Perfect blue was OK for sound.  Sol Bianca: The Legacy video on the first DVD was far more impressive sounding...

Ohayocon is going to rock 'cause I'm gonna blow the hotel off it's foundations with sound :D  There'll be *no* question where to find VIDEO1 ;)
