1.  I started collecting cels about a few months ago...I decided
to try and find something else I could collect of anime (much
to parents dismay)...my collection has grown pretty big in
my opinion to about 33 cels of almost one sow...TENCHI MUYO!!
The show has been one of my faves ever since it came out!

2.  I believe in the beginning that collecting cels wasnt very popular but, obviously more and more people are starting to get into
anime because of sci fi channel and because its different...
thats the draw back to being into anime I believe.  As the years
pass more and more know what it is and get into it. which
causes a more "need" for it and (its true) competition to
get everything...

3.  The most expensive in cels that I have seen is from a show called Record of Lodoss Wars (OVAS)...
cels from that show go for somewhere from 500- over a thousand dollars (Deedlit and Pirotess of course!)...In what shows that are collected from the most is hard to say since
everyones opinion of shows varies and to what degree they MUST
get that cel from that show ... (tenchis AWESOME!) ^_^

4.  In my opinion I kinda hate ebay because cels you want so bad could go
to OUTRAGEOUS prices that you would never be willing to pay..which in turn shows dealers how much people are willing to pay
for certain characters and will in the end raise their prices..): (

5.  I think people collect because of either the shows story or the character themselve (RYOKO FAN HERE!)

6. Cel collecting can be for everyone..but you must be willing to spend a little more than you think for certain cels
depending who you are collecting and how bad you want it...
the most outrageous as I said earlier was of Record of Lodoss Wars...one of the
most interesting and well drawn shows possibly out there!

7.  I cant explain what appeals to me..just knowing the fact that you hold in your hands a piece of a show that you love
and that the great "masters" of the show actually touch it!  (this is stupid I know, but no other way to explain it!) plus the colors and the posing of the
character plays a big part if you buy it!  OH! Plus if you know if people
would die for that cel...its a competition thing! ^.^;

8. GOOD GOD YES IS IT EVER ADDICTING!!1!!!!  There is no stopping it!
If you want to be a collector its gonna take some big bucks
to keep the obsessions going.. *sigh* opens up wallet ad little butterflies fly out...
