Well, if she's from Japan, I don't see how she can be 
"uninitiated" in anime. >_^  As long as you NEVER USE THE 
WORD "OTAKU" around her, things should be fine. After all, 
there must be more anime fans in Japan than here, surely 
she knows someone with an interest like that...
