Dear Oion,

Same here! Part of me is glad that some studios are going
into computer animation. That way, I have less to collect!
However, have you seen the douga and genga from those
computer animated shows? I just bought a couple of douga
from the Maho Tsuki Tai T.V. series which is computer
colored. (Damn, I wish I could show you, but I'm scanner
and spelling deficient!) The douga are nice as always, BUT
they are LESS colorful than their predecesors (I really
CAN'T spell!). Just imagine the douga you have now except
with NO special coloring. They sort of look like pages from
a coloring book with a few colored lines to show where
highlights and shading should be =(. I assume they do this
so the scanner and computer has an easier time figuring out
where the lines should be plus it makes it a lot easier to
use that fill paint tool too.

By the way, does anyone know if the genga for these new
computer generated shows look just as great as the ones for
shows with cels, or have they changed as well? I haven't
seen one yet, so I was just wondering.

Sigh, we are witnesses to the death of cels, videotapes,
floppy diskettes, etc. _ .

Sincerely,

Sonia
