I have to reiterate what the person said about Hayashi-san: she only really deals with people she's worked with before. I have been getting stuff from her for a LONG LONG time, but I have always written my e-mails in Japanese, and received responses in Japanese. Plus, many of her cels are sold on a "lottery" system, much like "that other site we can't talk about". It's different in that the lottery cels come through a special catalog that she only sends out to people who PAY for the catalog and know how to ask for it. Even though there are a lot of nice cels, she doesn't accept "requests" for lottery cels through e-mail, you have to mail back the filled out (Japanese) form and then your number goes in the queue with the other Japanese entries. The problem with this, of course, is that you have a VERY limited time frame on paying for the catalog (500 Y), getting the catalog (sent EMS), filling it out, and mailing it back to her (which I usually do via Global Priority, just more $$). The catalog usually has about 100 cels, and I usually get 3 or so of the 10-15 cels that I request in the lottery. There's a lot of competition, so your chances aren't good for the more expensive cels. So, if you see a large panel of cels, that are super-nice, they are usually catalog "only" cels. She's very nice, but I think she speaks very little English and she's not all that interested in having too many foreign customers as she would end up with the senario that "the site we can't talk about" has. I've been getting cels from her for ~2 years.

anyway, just FYI
