Yes, it is in bad taste to "borrow" a graphic from someones page
without asking, more so if the pages' author requests to be asked first.

Yes, we have no more rights than the child who buys a Barbie Doll
at a toy store, and then gets upset because others want to have one too.

BUT

The person who "borrows" a graphic from a web site ONLY has a jpg file
that they can look at.

The owner of the site has the original!
A cel that they can hold, look at, show to thier friends, admire
AND be proud of for the rest of thier lives!

Which would you rather have, a computer file or the real thing?
I think I know the answer...
