Hello All!

Those of us that are working on getting the cel gathering
for AX together this year are having a bit of a dilema.
Between what has been presented in the past years at AX
and Fanime con we are running out of new material to
present. We've hoped to present something new each time
so that people that come each year get to learn or hear
about something new rather than the same old content each
time and just fall asleep ^^

What we are interested in knowing is what you as the fans
and collectors would be interested in seeing/hearing about
at AX. Some of the suggestions from those of us organizing
it have been the following:

Identifying Fake cels: We know this is a hot topic, but
believe me it will be difficult, and take a lot of
resources to do any kind of quality presentation on the
subject. Partially since it involves obtaining good
and bad fake cels to do the presentation.

Gengas and pre-production artwork: Since gengas and other
pre-douga drawings are being sold more frequently now, we
could do a presentation that helps to explain what gengas
are and all the other pre-production sketches.

Special Cels: What are eyecatches, tomei, and other like
   rare and unique cels?

Q&A with panel members: Basically an open forum to ask
any questions about collecting or the hobby in general.

Please, if you have any comments please respond to the
forum, or email privately to discuss anything. We want
to make this fun and interesting for all! As always there
will be plenty of time for questions, just if you make a
Q&A part of the panel we will leave more time open for that.

The format we are looking to following is 2 or maybe 3
presentations of no more than 15 minutes. We've found this
worked very well at Fanime con this year and some people
expressed concern at AX about the talks going too long.

Last but not least, for times would people prefer Friday
or Sunday? We are assuming the masquerade is on Saturday
so that day is out (and remember the show goes until Monday
this year).

Thanks for the input
Brian
