Good point...  although that's the thing, nothing else was
really lost, his house didn't cave in or anything.  He 
could have avoided losing anything if it weren't for the
$$&%$# glass in his frames...  Plus you have to pay a lot extra to get earthquake coverage, normal homeowner's insurance in CA does not usually cover it.  I think the big 
drawback to plexi is that it gets dull easier..
