o_O The Things We Do For Our Cels...and...OMIGOD!! (Mon May 22 15:48:38 2000 )

I spent the better part of the day rebagging my cels since I
finally picked up my Talas order. Unfortunately, the polypro
bags were discontinued so I only got my Mylar D polyester bags,
but let me say this, the Mylar bags are DAMN thick! Very stiff,
crystal clear, just the way I like it. Very good quality, I'm
very happy with them, the only bad thing is that because of their
stiffness it's a little difficult getting a perfect crease when
folding the edge over (and only once - no way I can fold these
baggies twice). I also did a miscalculation and apparently
bought way too much archival buffered tissue paper (about five
times as much as I needed, probably), but at least that's cheap.

I'm about 2/3 finished now, but in pulling out one of my cels
from its sealed bag to replace it with a Mylar, I was SHOCKED
to discover - ("why isn't it coming out? grr" -yank yank) - that
I got TWO cels for the price of one, both from the same sequence
obviously, but get this, the extra one is the END cel. The neat
thing is that it's for a series where finding cels is difficult
(Kodomo no Omocha). So how often does this happen?

!^______________^! (I can't elaborate my joy enough. Made my day!)

;_; Sadly, both are stuck to their pencils, so I have to do
either the freezer or water treatment. I've been sacrificing
a lot of semi-pencils to water lately, but it's no big deal
because the cels were AIC with no matching pencils anyway.

Gotta finish bagging....(huff huff)

p.s. My Neck hurts like hell because I don't have a big enough
table and everything's spread out on my bed. NOT that you care.
-_- Is anyone in Boulder? I'm tired of not being able to show
my cels to someone. Of course, I really need to fix my site
after the HDD installation. -_-
