Wow, this is a great topic! OK, so here goes:

1) How long have you been collecting cels?
   
   I've been collecting since October of 1999.

2) How much do you spend on cels per month? (Average)
   
   Hmm....this widely varies...I would say $1,000 per month.

3) What is your favorite cel? (Post pic)
   
   It would have be this one of Folken from Escaflowne.
   Finding cels of him in his pre-Zaibach days are extremely
   hard or next to impossible to find. This one's from the
   dragon hunt.

4) Assuming you buy cels off the internet - what is your
favorite site to buy them from (not necessarily where
you buy cels most regularly)?

   That would be Anime-Taro. They've consistently carried
   the best quality and rarity in terms of Esca cels. Anime
   Link as well. Also, some very nice and generous private 
   collectors who have sold me cels from their collections! :)

5a) Do you concentrate on specific characters or series or both?
   
   I primarily collect Escaflowne. Favorite character in Folken.
   I also like Van and Allen! Right now I'm concentrating
   on finding and buying cels of other characters. I also
   collect Larva cels from VPM. 

b) If you collect for a series, do you go through the 
 trouble of finding at least one cel per character?
  
   Absolutely, well, right now I am!!

6) Have you ever purchased a cel from EBay or Yahoo or some other auction site?

   Yes! I've bought lots of nice cels from Ebay. I've tried
   selling, but sometimes it's hard trying to get a fair
   price for a cel. 

7) Do you have family members who also appreciate cels?
   
   Nope, I always get the lecture of, "Don't you have better
   things to do with your money than buy those?"

8) Do you have friends who appreciate cels?

   Absolutely. I do web design and 3D animation, so most
   of the people I work with definitely have an appreciation
   of it.

9) In the space of this form box (i.e. the entire message
cannot force scrolling either vertically or horizontally
in the reply text box), please explain WHY you think 
cels are so addicting - imagine you're trying to explain
to someone why they're so great. 

   Hmmm....because each cel that you buy will always bring
   your mind back to a particular episode, scene or moment
   that you love. At least for me that's the reason. Kind
   of like replaying the moment without having to bring
   out the VCR!! :)
