The only time I have backed out of an agreement 
on a sale or trade is when the person has not 
gotten payment to me in the agreed upon time. If 
I had set a price for someone, I would not even 
listen to higher offers - to me it's not ethical. 
I'd definately avoid dealing with this person 
again if I were in your position.
