The seller should be able to answer your 
questions. Generally if something is called a 
laser copy background, then the background is 
exactly that - a *copy* of the original. In the 
case of an anime that actually *used* laser 
printed backgrounds generated on a computer, the 
background might be called a "laser background" 
or "original laser background" - but note the 
lack of the term "copy". If the background was 
used to shoot the anime, "original production 
background" would also apply.

I don't know if Darkstalkers used laser or 
handpainted backgrounds. Sometimes, if a studio 
uses the laser backgrounds, they'll ALSO use 
handpainted ones. See the notations regarding the 
background on my pan cel of Keith and Burn 
(Psychic Force).
