Basically, this is the problem:

This is totally ignorant.  How do you know he 
didn't pay $245 for that cel and mark it up only
$5?  Maybe YOU wouldn't have bought it for that
price because you follow FY prices a lot, but
maybe he thought someone out there would really 
like it, especially after seeing a Nuriko on 
Ebay sell for $1500.  

If you are not a die-hard Fy fan, you might think
a nice cel of Taka could go that high.  I don't
know FY cel prices that well, and I am sure others
are like me.  The eyes in that cel are really
pretty, and I don't really see why that price is
so high.  I wouldn't pay it, but that is because
of what I collect, not because it's too high.

Just becuase Rick or anyone else is a dealer,
doesn't mean they all get all their cels for $10
and can sell them for whatever they want.

Everyone always blames the dealer for the high
price, but never stops to consider that maybe
the dealer was offered it for the high price and 
thought it was something people wanted, so they
picked it up.  

I just think that before you accuse the dealer 
(especially one who has done so much like Rick)
for not having reasonable prices, consider that
maybe he paid a lot and is getting attacked not
because he was greedy (although that is the 
accusation), but because he bought something at
more than it is worth to YOU.

Remember, to someone else, that still might be
the deal of the century.

As it is a forum, feel free to dicuss, but I 
wonder: suppose I posted a gallery update and you
saw a new cel I had in my gallery that you knew
cost me XXXX dollars which you thought was way 
too high.  Would you reply in the same thread
right below my post of gallery update "what do
think FY girls?" and go on to say how I payed 
way too much for it and it wasn't worth it?

Probably not.  I hope I don't need to go into 
why you shouldn't.  Now, if Rick (or any other 
dealer) really DID pay too much for a cel and 
thus that was reflected in the price they 
chargeed, isn't attacking them in their thread 
just the same thing?
