You know, that seems to happen a lot in anime!
You see someone cool and think, "I must have it!"
and then find out they only appeared in that one
episode for like, 15 minutes and all the cels
are either gone or really really expensive.  Or, 
the only cels left are of like their left arm
or something. :)  Anyway, good luck on your
