Especially since I just found a cel of Ashitaka 
from Mononoke Hime that's just . . . 
FREAKING AWESOME. And unfortunately it's 
one of those things that has overlap with the 
art industry, at least in terms of price! @,o' 
Even for a cel from my favorite film, even for 
one so beautiful, I can't rationalize paying over 
a $1,000. It's just insane. Of course, that 
would be if I COULD pay over $1,000! 

It seems like there are probably more 
paralells between the modern art market and 
the cel market than between cels and 
collectibles, though I would not have thought 
that initially. 

Yes, the whole demand thing . . . I personally 
feel that even though there's been a spike 
because of the Cartoon Network and Fox and 
so on that it will "cool", as you say. Maybe 
that's wishful thinking on my part. You're right 
though, time will tell. And I'm not going 
anyplace . . .
