I happen to disagree with you here. He is
providing a service - he's paying up front for
cels he has no real guarantee that the person is
actually going to pay for. Anyone could email him
and say bid a max of 50,000 on something and then
when they win, just stiff him. He's still out
that money.
Also, it is *your* responsibility to keep track
of the auctions he's bidding on for you. You did
tell him the "max" bid you would pay, didn't you?
If it goes over that, he's going to assume that
it's gone past the point that you'll pay for it.
If you decide you still want it, you should
contact him and increase the bid. That's why he
has you send in a max bid in the first place.
