Well, I agree that flames and anon posts are not
the one in the same breed, and that some anons
are actually nice and helpful. :P But it is
difficult to separate the two without getting
involved with all that... stuff. And where do
anon posts usually accumulate? I do appreciate
the helpful anon posts, of course, but I still
wonder why they don't use a handle at all? (??)

Now, I can understand an anon post for, maybe,
questioning the validity of a sale/auction post.
This is understandable in the light of retaliatory
posts/spam/fb (on auction)...

And it's also true that handles are in a sense
"anon" - but they can be maintained to the
point of reputable background. Wait, I had a point
somewhere... Oh, here it is: feeling the "limit"
of being Politically Correct and 'watering down'
responses are also not of the same breed as
choosing words more carefully to get your point
across. (Did that make /any/ sense at all? @_@)

You can still just edit out words like "crap,
shit, fuck" and get a point across quite
elegantly and powerfully, and not necessarily PC.
My favorite example of this kind of writing -
which I KNOW not everyone uses b/c of personal
style - is one of the longest Soapbox threads on
evilBay about snipers.... err... where did it
go... Drat, it was old and fell off the BBS. >_<

But, I also feel that the ability to voice one's
opinion about anything requires an amount of
comfortable assertion - one must not be afraid to
step on any/everyone's toes, because sometimes
it's still the way to get your point across,
though you can wear identity more 'softly' and
still tread lighter. (?_?) The internet playing
field is leveled so that everyone gets a fair
chance - anyone who is confident enough with their
point of view should not be afraid of *any*
repercussions that may or may not follow - at
least in a civil forum such as this (can't say
much about chat or similar ilk O_o).

I'm curious why anon posters remain anon - besides
the flamers who are anon, why other better anons
remain so. ? Spam? Just a usual lurker who really
doesn't like sticking your neck in anywhere? :P

I suppose the final question to everyone would
be...
"Are you confident in what you believe enough to
put your mark behind it?"

Okay, my blood sugar is way too low, must stuff
face... -_-
