Granted it's not the best cel out there, but he's 
not asking top dollar for it.  

Keep this in mind: 
An A cel of Deedlit is easily $1 000  . 
I've seen B cels, where the figure takes up a 
small amount of the cel, and the image is pushed 
off to the side for $350. 
It's a very competitive market out there for 
Record of the Lodoss War cels or cels from series 
by that character designer -- name escapes me at 
that moment.   
Um, someone just posted on this forum, that he'd 
pay even more money for it. . . . Take this and 
reach any conclusion you wish. 

As for whether something's overpriced -- if you 
don't like something $2 is too much to ask for 
it. If it's worth it to you, then you'll try for 
it. If it's not, you won't. In terms of the 
market, it's not an unreasonable amount of money
