Most web-based anime message boards often attract 
their own little communities and so may be of 
limited value depending on who posts where, but if 
it's general info you're after, hit the newsgroup 
rec.arts.anime.misc (you can read it and post to it 
on the web via deja.com if you're not up on getting 
a newsreader).
