Which one did you get, the one where he is
looking down, or the one where he is looking
directly at you? The one where he is looking
directly at you is pretty incredible ^_^! I also
like the one where he is looking down (I think
it's one cel before my Fluffy). I have seen about
3 other cels from this scene, two in the
possessions of dealer friends (NFS) and one on
Yahoo Japan (which was very similar to the
Sesshoumaru looking directly at you that just
sold on Taro). The one on Yahoo JP sold for
41,000 Yen... I had bid 40,000. I was sooooooooo
pissed that I didn't win at the time -_-#. I am
not sure if it was a Japanese or foreign fan that
won that cel.

I must admit I got my first IY cel about 2 years
ago for about $150.00. They have really
skyrocketed now, which I find bizarre since the
TV anime is coming out soon (and, I still keep
hearing rumors that it's not CG... I dunno for
sure, god I hope there are cels ^_^!). I guess
they are going up for the same reason that Lodoss
OVA skyrocketed, because they are older and
now "originals" (unlike the TV). Also, it's
probably due to the fact that cels in Japan were
about 2000x (yes I am exagerating, but...) more
expensive this year than they were when I went
last year. Even at the conventions and events
they were really expensive. Foreign demand in
tandem with sites like Ebay and Yahoo have driven
prices through the roof for dealers and
collectors.

I remember when I used to pay 2500 Yen (a little
less than $25.00) for a backgrounded Vegeta from
Dragonball Z cel. Now, I am paying $250.00 for a
lower quality cel.

makes me wonder why I am still collecting -_-#

these totally random thoughts brought to you by
misa ^_^
