Oh dear, you just have to take one look at my 
gallery to figure out what I think about this :P

I love descriptions! If somebody doesn't want to 
read them, they can ignore them as far as I'm 
concerned. Personally, I like to read about what 
attracts a person to a cel or a series. I like to 
feel their excitement about the cel -- even if I 
don't care about it. Most important, is that I've 
started watching some anime series based on what 
people have said about a cel. That is, I become 
intrigued. ^_^ Galleries with no commentary and 
with series I don't watch, bore me to tears. 

I'm more of a narrative-driven person anyway so 
this is a personal preference. I've also had non-
anime friends look at my site and tell me that 
they would have never noticed some of the details 
I point out so I think it's worth it. 

Then again, I haven't gotten many e-mail 
responses (good or bad) about my poor attempts at 
humor or my comments. *sob* ^_~
