In Japan, CG is the term that they used for either 
2D or 3D.  Yeah, they should change to a different 
term to identify the differences between 2D and 3D 
like the US, like digital composite or digial 
ink and paint for 2D stuff.  Even a illustration
on Photoshop, the Japanese call it CG as well.
