Hi,

I started collecting cels recently. Although I 
intended to buy only production cels, I was so 
impressed by the quality of some hanken mono that 
I ended up buying those instead.  

I'd like to collect more of them, so my question 
to those who have is how did you obtain yours? 

Is it worth looking at Yahoo Japan or Ebay, US 
conventions, conventions in Japan, or basically 
just asking dealers? A search on the internet 
turns up less than a half dozen sites with just 
the words "hanken mono", much less the cels 
themselves.  

I'll start off by saying that, in my case, I ran 
across a dealer who was willing to part with a 
few from her private collection.  

On a side note, is it very worthwhile obtaining 
production cels on Yahoo Japan compared to 
dealers and ebay? Signing up to YJ was easy 
enough, but setting up a local postal address and 
learning Japanese seems like a tough road unless 
there's a pot of gold at the end.
