Well, Mikael lost his halo it seems because he 
lost his way-- couldn't see the forest for the 
trees. ;)

As for Raphael-- not a clue. I've always wondered 
what was up with him. He had *two* wings in the 
flashback and I never really noticed any scars 
while he was lying naked in Mika's bed. (I know 
there are a couple of cels from that scene 
floating about, so perhaps someone can have a 
closer look.) I used to joke that maybe he lost a 
feather for every ecchi thought... ;)

Now, the really big question is how he manages to 
fly straight with only one wing. ;)
