Wizzywig (wizzywig.com) is the only successful 
anime-only store that I have ever seen in this 
state.  It's located within University of 
Michigan's central campus.  They don't do 
production cels (only Eva repros), but they carry 
a lot of books, magazines, toys, CDs, DVDs, 
candy/snacks, and sub-only videos for rent.  I'm 
sure I'm missing some stuff, but those are the 
major aspects of the store.  The anime club at U-
M signs out multiple 200-300 seat auditoriums for 
viewings so everybody doesn't have to watch the 
same movie/show at once.

I don't live in Ann Arbor anymore, though.  I 
moved east to Detroit.  Needless to say, people 
here say to go to wizzywig in Ann Arbor.  Later.
