Yeah...I've been collecting since the beginning
of this year, but I'd been cruising cel prices
for a long time before that (I got my first cel
related item last October, actually...a douga of
Aburatsubo). I'd been considering and watching
cel prices for almost two years now, but finally
bit the bullet near the end of last year and got
my first cel, at the end of Dec. I find the most
amusing part is that Tennimon cel prices
literally jumped just as I started
collecting...ain't that the way of things?

As for short attention spans...yeah. I have on
to -.-;; Before cels it was doujinshi. Before
doujinshi, anime trading cards...now I have a set
of rare eva cards that I don't know what to do
with, 'cause I can't use 'em but I'm too attached
to sell 'em. Anyone want a two-sided plastic
prism card of Rei and Kaworu being Death and
Rebirth? ^^;; And I think the fact that my Misc.
section is all that's been updating recently also
goes to show about my attention and patience -.-
;; I've been considering selling most of my Misc.
section off and collecting from only three
series...Tennimon, Mosquiton, and MTT. Hmmm...

As for advice....luck is integral. Sometimes you
have it, sometimes you don't, but it balances out
in the end. Also...there is such a thing as cel
karma...do a good cel deed, get a good cel deed.
Recently so many good cel things have been
happening to me, I really should get out and do a
good cel deed of my own or I'll end up cursing
myself o.o *shudder*

Anywhoo, I'm no vet either, but the best piece of
advice I can give you:

Don't take the brown acid.

Oh, wait you wanted CEL related advice? Ok...

There are two things that pose the greatest
danger to my cels (and numerous other small
ones), and so it might be for you. The evil hell
beacon known by many as the "Sun", and then my
evil familiar (also called a "pet"), the ball of
fluff with fangs, my cat. She thinks it's very
funny to sit on them...>< So, umm...try to avoid
these things.

Oh, yeah, and make sure your friends don't use
them as coasters...
