Hi, hey I know how to remove that sticky trail =)!
Just use the sticky tape technique which I
explained on the forum awhile back (long while).
Use a strip of scotch tape, put it on the sticky
glue you want to remove, and then carefully pull
off the tape.  Keep repeating until the sticky
residue is gone 8).  This is how I clean off any
sticky residue left by picking tape off of cels
with my fingernails or any sticky old residue left
from old tape.  This method is free from liquids
or harmful chemicals =)!  I used this method to
clean a VERY dirty old gummy taped up cel 8)!  It
takes a lot of patience though -_-, but you get
great results!
